The Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula, declared World Heritage by Unesco in 1998, expresses an architectural impact of high monumental and landscaped enchantment, offering a rich vision of mysticism and prayer. First Certosa of the Cartusian province "Sancti Brunonis" and funded from 1306 by Thomas Sanseverino, Count of Marsico and Lord of the Vallo di Diano, under the organizational supervision of the Priorities of the Certosa of Trisulti.
