Pré Saint Didier, both for its altitude and for its mild and dry climate, but above all for its hot water springs, which since ancient times have been recognized as therapeutic virtues of skin diseases, has been for centuries a favorite destination for vacationers of every age. What can we say, we are surrounded by a breathtaking scenery that accompanies skiers along exciting descents and fabulous itineraries: Mont Blanc, the Dente del Gigante, les Grandes Yorasses, the Aiguilles Vertes, the "Mont Blanc du Tacul" .. fourteen peaks which exceed the 4000 meters of height that frame the panoramic descent of the Vallèe Blanche, the most spectacular of the Alpine arch.Pré Saint Didier also offers numerous sports facilities, such as a large complex of heated swimming pools (indoor and outdoor, saunas), fields tennis and bowls, a soccer field, canoeing and rafting and a brand new adventure park whose games, suspended in the trees in total immersion in nature and in complete safety, are suitable for everyone: children and adults. Not far from the town, the source of the thermal waters is flanked by an imposing waterfall, the Orrido: a Dante's vision of the natural strength of a stream, which seething flows into a deep gorge of scistic rocks.Pre 'Saint Didier represents and finally, an excellent starting point for taking simple walks and for organizing challenging excursions. The hiking trails are mainly developed in large conifer woods located on an extended ridge exposed towards the chain of Mount Bianco. We are in an unchanged and silent environment that allows us to establish a unique relationship with the mountain and its majesty. The Residence Universo is easily reached with the new extension of the A5 motorway which allows you to arrive by car in just over an hour from Turin, an hour and a half from Milan and about two and a half hours from Genoa; frequent and fast also rail and bus transfers.
