The structure has a double soul: originated from a historic convent of the 18th century and an ancient patron residence of the island of "Baglio" of the eighteenth century, in 2005 it was alongside the intense atmosphere enclosed within the thick walls and the white towers, a new and impressive hotel structure that combines the charm of old Baglio with the modern services of a Meeting & Congress Center. On the one hand, the evocation of memories and history lived intensely from 700 to today, and alongside all the comfort to meet every need for relaxation and organization of special events.

Petrosino and its surroundings

Small town between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, stands on a flat area that opens to the sea and is crowded especially in the summer when the beaches of Torrazza, Biscione and Sibiliana are filled with holidaymakers. The economy of the area is based essentially on summer tourism and the wine sector. Near the seaside you can admire the Torre Sibiliana, a coastal square tower used in the past, both to facilitate fishing operations and to defend itself against pirate assaults In the main square is Maria SS of Thanksgiving, a church with a Latin cross built in the middle of 1700. At the end of 1700 onwards, the ever-increasing international importance of Marsala wine and its associated businesses contributed little to the development of the area.
Characteristic are the Bagli that landowners constructed for carrying out agricultural activities. Each of them was equipped with large courtyards, patron's home, and many stores of various uses. Among the most important ones are Baglio Spanò, Baglio Basile and Baglio Don Federico. Since 1980 it ceased to be a part of Marsala and became autonomous municipality
