San Zeno di Montagna and its surroundings

Country on the western foothills of Baldo, precisely on the side of this mountain overlooking Lake Garda, San Zeno di Montagna is nine kilometers northwest of Caprino and its altitude is 609 meters above sea level. At the end of the nineteenth century, the commune received an important military polygon, and in the summer, the regiments of the Verona Division were followed in order to practice in individual and collective struggles of war. Then the territory was considered fertile: it produced plenty of wine and grain. There were at the bottom and better exposed the beautiful olive trees, whose wood was also carved; On the top, however, it had large, uptic pastures. There was a large breeding of livestock and, among the homemade industries, linen and cotton weaving were important for ordinary canvases, while the bachiculture was well cared for and, diffused in the various families, it was a source of discrete earnings. Perched on Monte Baldo, in a panoramic position, San Zeno di Montagna, a small mountain economy center, has lived in the following years, but especially in the last fifty years, its economic crisis, redeemed by a considerable development, almost exclusively in tourist direction

ambiente tranquillo e rilassante fornito di ottimi servizi, camere pulite e confortevoli, buon cibo, qualche chilometro di strada di montagna x arrivare al lago ma vale la pena

Valutazione soddisfacente, pulizia buona,personale cortese e gentile unica osservazione da fare la colazione del mattino un po' monotona con distributori di cereali e marmellata vecchiotti e talvolta vuoti nel complesso soggiorno da consigliare saluti
