Pinzolo and surroundings
The resort of Pinzolo, with neighboring countries Giustino and Carisolo, is located at the top of Val Rendena: here the Valley has very wide and flat, before climbing to Madonna di Campiglio and shrink left in the wild Val Genova. And 'the ideal place to stay for the great and the kids who like to enjoy a holiday in a place that, while offering state of the art exercise equipment, has managed to retain the character of an Alpine country rich in culture and its tradizioni.Le origins are ancient, as evidenced by the S. Vigilio church, probably built before the eleventh century, although the present structure dates back to 1515. tourism also enjoys Pinzolo ancient traditions: the first hotels date back to the end of ' nineteenth century, when the area began to be frequented by climbers coming mainly from England and Germany. But the real boom in tourism dates back to the '60s with the construction of tourist facilities for summer (tennis, soccer fields, parks) and the first lifts of the Doss Sabion. Since then there have been built many hotels, bed & breakfasts, cottages and residences, able to meet every need. The modernization of tourism facilities are continuous, and today there are many four-star hotel with pool and spa. Even the lifts have to move with the times and the runs are serviced by snowmaking equipment. And finally the ski connection with Madonna di Campiglio, which will be ready for the winter season 2011/12 is almost completed. Since Christmas 2010 came the feature the newest Tulot gondola and completed the fantastic track DoloMitica, one of the most challenging runs in the Alps. The summer in Pinzolo is buzzing from June to September are followed local festivals, cultural and gastronomic events not to be missed. With its 72 meters (the highest in the Trentino) dominates the town of Pinzolo and Val Rendena high.
