Structure

The structure encloses and represents the birth and the history of the village of Folgarida. At the beginning of 1965 it was one of the first 3 hotels built on nothing on the road that connects the village of Dimaro to Madonna di Campiglio, which all now call Folgarida. His name and his design, with its typical shape of a small chalet, comes from the first owner, a businessman of Dimaro who as an engineer had gone looking for luck in America and after 40 years decided to go back with his wife Rose at home to pass old age and give life to what one knows as one of the most important ski resorts in Italy. Renovated, expanded and restored in the years the hotel is characterized by a rustic mountain style.

Dimaro and surroundings

Folgarida is a village in the municipality of Dimaro at 1.270 m asl, at the foot of the Presanella group. In winter, it is at the center of the main ski area of the Val di Sole.

9 km from Madonna di Campiglio lies the modern resort of Folgarida, a fraction of Dimaro that is surrounded by greenery. Folgarida, located at 1,270 meters above sea level, is ideal for those who love open-air winter sports and for those who want to relax in the mountains. A total of 120 km of pistes await you in the ski areas of Folgarida-Marilleva and Madonna di Campiglio - skiing between the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortles-Cevedale group is a real pleasure. Who else prefers other sports can for example try in the beautiful ice stadium and make a broomball match with your friends. In the evening, instead, the convention center "At the Emperor's Park" in Folgarida offers exhibitions, conventions, exhibitions and screenings of various genres. Those who prefer to spend an evening in the spirit of worldness can reach Madonna di Campiglio, one of the most prestigious resorts in the Alps.
