Costa di Folgaria and surroundings

Costa is a town of ancient origins inserted in a large meadow hollow, pleasantly exposed to the south. At about 2 kms from Folgaria, the resort is equipped with hotels, shops, restaurants, private apartments, sports and recreational facilities. It is worth visiting Maso Spilzi (18th century), an ancient rural structure dedicated to forest themes, biotopes and the relationship men and winter mountain, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie (XV century), which houses the miraculous Madonna, protector of Italian skiers. The area also features an 18-holes golf course and the protected area of the Ecken Biotope, an ideal place for relaxing walks in contact with nature. Costa is a summer and winter tourist resort: it has 3 to 4 star hotels, private apartments and residences. In winter it offers many opportunities: a direct connection to the Carosello Ski Folgaria via the four-seater Costa-Moreta chairlift, ski lessons, ski school, rental, sledging, snowshoe hiking and Baby Park.
