South Tyrol for lovers of silence

Between tradition and desire again
South Tyrol, you will learn in a short time if you have the chance to come to South Tyrol, are proud to be South Tyrol. Very proud of their rooted traditions and full of optimism if one has to look to modernity and the future.
Alpine mountain pastures and mountain pastures, perched like eagles on steep slopes, show the signs of the sun, the wind and all the other atmospheric agents. In the valleys and cities the old builders associate themselves with the next generation builders. The need is clear and reconciles a great contrast. On the one hand, the desire for tranquility, return to origins and authenticity, and on the other, the demand for connectivity through email, internet and hightech. The fact that this is possible at the same time, almost in a blink of an eyelash, is demonstrated daily by the South Tyrols. And also guests coming from everywhere they appreciate it a lot.
South Tyrol has therefore become a modern land, but at the same time still peaceful and quiet. Modesty blends with the pride of a modern tourist management, nevertheless it is nevertheless clumsy and snobbish.
Inevitably in South Tyrol the gaze is pushed high. This does not mean, however, that South Tyrols are taller, simply proud of being South Tyrol.

Val Pusteria - the green valley of South Tyrol

"Nothing better, but something special"
Val Pusteria is often called the "green valley". It is a detour of the Isarco Valley and connects the bishopric town of Bressanone with Lienz, in East Tyrol. The capital is Brunico, with its approximately 15,000 inhabitants.
The Val Pusteria, with its broad greenery, fields, meadows and woods, is a key road axis and the Rienza River divides this South Tyrol area in a very surprising way. To the north, with a higher altitude, the valley is highly wooded and characterized by a snowy alpine ridge, while the pale Dolomites in the south rise in the blue sky with meadows and pebbly slopes.
There is a sticker to apply to the car on which it is written "We are not the best pussy, but something special." In a song of the "Matschedonia" group it is said, "Being pusted is like being a potato with a halo ...". What else to say about the Val Pusteria and its people?

The Valley of Tures and Ahrntal - the ideal address for holiday holidays

Holidays in South Tyrol and in the natural park
The Tures and Aurina valleys are the northernmost valley of South Tyrol and are separated from the Puster Valley at Brunico, north and the alpine ridge of the Zillertal Alps. The valley measures 40 km in length and up to Campo Tures earns less than twenty meters of altitude. After that it describes a northeasterly curve and 850 meters of altitude suddenly reaches 1,600 meters above sea level.
The numbers are made and speak for themselves. The Tures and Aurina valleys are a renowned and sought after tourist destination thanks to their numbers: 84 peaks of three thousand meters, 178 managed malgives, 912 peasant lands, 15,000 inhabitants, 10,000 livestock, 850 km of hiking trails, 7 shelters Alpine huts, 3 ski areas, 35 mountain lakes, countless streams and streams, 120 drinking water springs, 80 km cross-country ski trails, over 50 ski resorts and 10 sledges. In the summer you can practice more than 30 sport activities, over 20 in winter. And all this being immersed in a wonderful natural park.
There is no doubt: the Tures and Aurina valleys are the ideal destination for a holiday in the South Tyrol region, while rooted in its ancient traditions and immersed in a spectacular natural setting that can not be found elsewhere.

Campo Tures - the home of Hans Kammerlander

The most beautiful South Tyrol resort located in the largest protected area of ??Europe
Campo Tures is the capital of the Valley of Tures and Aurina. This township is divided into villages: Molini di Tures, Caminata, Campo Tures in the valley and Acereto and Riva di Tures in the mountains. Approximately 5200 inhabitants reside in this charming and pleasant village of village and voted for tourism.
Among the tourist attractions worth mentioning is the Tures Castle, where the Tyrolean nobility of the Lords of Tures, the spectacular Riva waterfalls, the Natural Park Museum and the untouched beauty of the Natural Park Vedette of Ries-Aurina, part of Europe's largest protected area.
The most popular fellow is, without a doubt, the extreme climber Hans Kammerlander, born in Acereto and always resident in his native country.

Ottima struttura, ben curata e in un bel paese come campo tures. Unica pecca, almeno nel mio appartamento, la cucina troppo piccola.
