On the northern tip of Sicily, in Messina, in an area of suggestive landscape, rises the comfortable and elegant Le Dune Beach Club.

Distance from the sea

The structure rises directly on the sea (sandy beach with pebbles on the shore).

Rooms

Welcoming and comfortable Standard rooms (20 square meters, from 2 to 3 beds) and Family rooms (40 square meters, with 4 beds) all have: air conditioning, telephone, private bathroom, wi-fi internet connection, minibar, hairdryer, safe. Multiple accommodations have flat beds.

Messina and its surroundings

Messina is the "Porta della Sicilia" city. With its sickle-shaped port, it has always been a commercial city. It is the closest city to the Peninsula, and although we have been talking about building a scuba diving tunnel or a bridge, never built, to connect the city to the mainland, going beyond the Strait of Messina, the city is still very well connected to the rest of Italy by a ferry system. It was founded by the Greeks who gave it the name "Zancle", which means "Sickle", linked to the shape of its port. Later the Romans conquered it, then the Byzantines and then the Arabs. Finally the Normans arrived. The maximum splendor was reached by Messina when, under the dominion of the Swabians, Angevins and Aragonese, it became the capital of the Kingdom of Sicily and above all one of the most flourishing Mediterranean cities, thanks above all to its port and its commercial vocation .The city of today develops along the whole coast and is almost totally modern, above all due to the violent earthquakes that have struck it several times and the bombardments that the city suffered during the Second World War.
