The 4-star Hotel I Melograni is located on the seafront of Europa, about 150 meters from the beach and the Gargano Sea, each year a favorite destination for many sport enthusiasts, untouched nature, sports and excursions.
The hotel is divided into two structural bodies and is surrounded by a large green park of 11 hectares, which also houses Baia degli Aranci, with independent holiday homes for holiday apartments and equipped areas for campers and tents.

Hotel I Melograni 4 stars awaits you in Vieste, near the sea, just a short distance from the center of the village: just a short stroll along the seafront.
After a long day spent relaxing in the pool, water games, sports activities on the private beach, just 15 minutes walking distance you will experience the thrill of exploring the narrow streets of Vieste to discover the charm and the history of this ancient fishing village.
Of Vieste you will especially hit white. A very intense white, in the manner of certain villages of Greece, with houses perched on a limestone promontory overlooking the sea. For many centuries the threats of the Saracen pirates have also come, so still today there are no straight and regular roads, but winding and narrow streets to hide those who have been pursued.
Vieste existed long before the great tourist flow that characterizes it today. According to scholars and researchers, it is an inhabited area since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the rock-covered patches, rich in rock carvings dating back to the Paleolithic, which in the following centuries has seen new cultures and religions emerge as demonstrated by the Necropolis The Salad, not far from the village.
Co-Cathedral. In the highest part of Vieste there is the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Cathedral of Vieste. Built in the 11th century, several restoration works have been carried out over time, especially for the destruction of the invaders and the ancient earthquakes of the 13th and 17th centuries.
The Federal Castle. Vieste and the Gargano were particularly dear to Emperor Federico II of Swabia. The federic castle, also in the highest part of the country, is one of Vieste's symbols; perched on the craggy cliff and the current seat of a Navy station, will surprise you with its mighty walls.
The Malachological Museum. Originally born as a curiosity, as a passion, in time it has been able to carve out an ever more important space, to become a true museum space dedicated to the first inhabitants of the sea, the shells. They come from many countries, strange shapes and colors. The new location of the museum is also fascinating, housed in an antique oil mill.
Punta San Francesco. Vieste stretches east to a peninsula at the top of which is San Francesco, where the homonymous church is built. It is a very ancient part of Vieste, the ancient medieval village full of lanes and stories to tell. Between San Francesco and Santa Croce point lies the rock-islet of Sant'Eufemia, where the Vieste Lighthouse, one of the most important of the Adriatic, has been active since 1868.

The Gargano was a much-beloved territory - before so many tourists today - by Frederick II of Swabia who used to build many castles to strengthen imperial power and image. So you could organize a beautiful tour in search of the major cities where you can relive this atmosphere of solemn centrality. For example, around an hour and a half drive from Vieste, find Lucera and its monumental Svevo-Angevin fortress, then you might think to extend the itinerary of about twenty minutes to reach Troy, founded even before the age of Romans, which boast a unique detail in the world: the cathedral's rose window is divided into eleven parts, whereas partitions are usually in equal number (usually 10 or 12). Of course, the diocesan museum, which among the many objects exhibits 3 exultet, deserves a visit from the Church of the Church, consisting of very beautiful parchment rolls of wonderfully miniature.
