The property is located in Pescegallo, about 1400 meters high, just a few steps from the ski lifts of the Pescegallo-Val Gerola cable cars. In the winter, near the ski lifts, in the summer starting point for numerous hiking trails ranging from 1,800 to 2,600 m above sea level. In winter the Val Gerola - Pescegallo area, in the Regional Park of the Orobie Valtellinesi, guarantees trails of every level of difficulties well supported on the coast of Mount Ponteranica (mt. 2,370). Great opportunities for winter sports such as free ride, mountaineering and snowshoes.

Gerola Alta and its surroundings

Gerola Alta is one of the most popular and beautiful orobic centers. Post, as it is, between the high and low valley, at 1050 meters, represents the center of gravity of the Valley of the Bitto of Gerola, the westernmost of the two great and famous valleys of the Bitto (the other is that of Albaredo). Today, the identity and vitality of this center are linked to tourism and quality livestock.
