Atripalda and surroundings

At four kilometers from Avellino, Atripalda was founded according to scholars from Sabatio (from which the name of the river Saturday that crosses the city) Noah's great-grandson, but owes its name to Truppualdo Racco who, in the ninth century, managed the fiefdom to the east of the county of Avellino.
