 Structure

Hotel Fattoria Belvedere was born from the renovation of an ancient "farm", furnished in pure Tuscan style. Located on the top of a hill in the municipality of Montecatini Val di Cecina, an ancient medieval village, immersed in the green of the typical Tuscan countryside, the structure is surrounded by five acres of parkland with a wonderful view over the Tuscan hills. The hotel is made up of three buildings: "Il Mulino", "Il Vecchio Frantoio" and "Granaio". The location is strategic. In a short time you can reach the Etruscan Coast or the most famous Tuscan city cities like Volterra, Pisa, Florence, Lucca and Siena, with the possibility of following interesting cultural and historical itineraries. Not everyone knows how many small medieval sites, rocks, castles, estate, farms are enclosed in our territory. (Castle of Querceto, Rock of Miemo, Rocca Sillana, San Galgano, Casaglia Farm, etc.). Very interesting to visit for the lovers of the sector are all those little museums, rich in curiosity and less well-known at national level (Mining Museum in Montecatini Val di Cecina or the Museum of Geothermal of Larderello, as well as the Museums of the Alpastro of Volterra) , the periphery churches on the farms, the interesting cultural and musical events, as well as culinary events, which take place throughout the year.

A true jewel of Etruscan, Roman, medieval and Renaissance art, famous for its abbey handicrafts. Just 20 Km from our Hotel. Unique city, where you can admire scenic features that have never been seen before.
During summer and autumn, many cultural and artistic events are organized in this town.
Here you can visit: The Etruscan Museum of Gurnacci, the Acropolis, the Piazza and Palazzo dei Priori, the Pinacoteca, the Medicean Fortress and the Museum of Sacred Art.

On the road leading to Massa Marittima, nestled in a landscape of green hills, we meet Pomarance.
In this small historical village you can visit the Parish Church, the Central Square, the streets of the old town with the characteristic shops, all framed by beautiful nineteenth-century palaces.
Montecatini Val di Cecina
This small hamlet is located on a hill with a wonderful view over the Cecina valley. The country is dominated by the tower of the ancient Belforti family.
Montecatini Val di Cecina is characterized by a medieval center with historic buildings such as the Pretorio Palace, which is accessed through an elegant porch, and the 14th century church of S.Biagio.

The Castle of Querceto
Medieval village perched around the church of St. John the Baptist, a typical example of Romanesque art of the XI∞ Century.
La Sassa
An enchanting medieval village, perched on a hill overlooking the east on the valley of Sterza. It was mentioned for the first time in a document dating back to 1008. Worth a visit to the Tower, whose construction dates back to 1100.
Particularly interesting are the villages of Casaglia, Gello, Buriano and Miemo. Do not miss the wonderful "Giardino dei Tarrocchi" located in Capalbio, in Garavicchio (southern Maremma), just over an hour south of Hotel Fattoria Belvedere. There are 22 Tarot cards (Arcani maggiore) in the park in ciclopic sculptures, about 12/15 meters high, covered with mosaics in mirror, precious glass and ceramics.
