Cavalese and surroundings

Cavalese lies on a sunny terrace facing the Lagorai chain. The crenellated bell tower of the church of San Sebastiano dominates the town. In the historic center there are showcases of handicrafts and sportswear, a disco, pubs, wine bars, renowned restaurants, perfectly restored period buildings, elegant villas and modern sports facilities. Among these, a futuristic ice-rink where skating also in summer and a communal swimming pool with indoor and outdoor whirlpools. The Alpe Cermis ski lifts leave the town and accompany skiers and hikers towards spectacular high-altitude views. The facilities also allow you to reach the valley floor which in summer is crossed by the Dolomites cycle path and in winter by the Marcialonga cross-country ski run.

A few steps from the center is the Parco della Pieve, with the archpriest church of the Assunta (year 1112) and the "Banco de la reson", where - as in Parliament - the representatives of the "Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme" sat, the institution that has been managing the forest heritage of the Valley for a thousand years. Guided tours and dramatized visits accompany the Palazzo Magnifica Comunità, with a museum-gallery and nineteenth-century prisons. Another ancient palace houses the Contemporary Art Center.

Around the town there are pleasant nature walks. Among the most admired natural monuments, the Cavalese waterfall and the secular tree "Pezo del Gazolin".

Hotel ideale anche per bambini avendo attività dedicate anche per i più piccoli con laboratori dedicati.

Hotel per gli amanti della montagna e della tranquillità.

Struttura un po' datata ma personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Peccato per stare vincolato agli orari della cabinovia poiché per raggiungere l'albergo bisogna necessariamente usarla.
