Located right on the Gulf of Castellammare and 6 km from Terrassini the structure is about 21 km from Palermo airport. Living the sea inside Perla del Golfo is an exclusive and suggestive experience. The terrace, set in the coast of the Gulf of Castellammare, rests harmoniously on the rocks of a small cozy cove called "Baia dei Gabbiani". A perfectly camouflaged platform between the polychrome rocks and designed to minimize the impact on the environment offers the possibility of enjoying priceless views and a panorama that reaches its perfection at sunset from a privileged position.

Distance from the sea

The structure rises directly on the sea with a private cliff equipped with a natural platform and is about 18 km from the sandy beach in Balestrate (for a fee).

Terrasini and surroundings

Terrasini is located in the province of Palermo, exactly 34 meters above sea level. The city was born in 1836 thanks to the union of two neighboring villages situated in one of the most fascinating Sicilian coasts in the initial part of the vast Gulf of Castellamare. The two villages in question had sprung up in the eighteenth century and bore the names of Terrasini and Favarotta. The city is best known for its location right on the coast consisting of a promontory and stacks and variegated rocks, for the transparent sea and changing colors and beautiful beaches, but also from a cultural and artistic point of view it has a lot to offer. The first cultural landmark to mention is the one concerning the Civic Museum. It is divided into three sections. The naturalistic one containing the ornithological, ethnomological collections and the interesting De Stefani Collection consisting of a paleontological, geological, entomological and mineralogical collection. The archaeological collection concerns the various finds obtained from the sea that washes the city and related to the various ships that were shipwrecked .The ethno-anthropological aspect concerns the history of the Sicilian cart. Among the other civic buildings it is necessary to mention the Palazzo D'Aumale, founded by Henri d'Orleans Duke of Aumale, two eighteenth-century palaces that belonged to the feudal family of the Terrasini territory La Grua - the first takes the name of the La Grua and today houses the Town Hall and the second is called Cataldi, it is owned by the municipality and houses the Public Library - and the Villa Fassini which presents itself with its liberty style. Finally, it is worth mentioning the watch towers built in past centuries with the aim of warning the population of the arrival of possible enemy ships. and in any case suspicious. Among these buildings we remember the Torre Alba and the Torre San Cataldo.
