The property is 20 km from one of the two ski lifts, with sandy beach, and 6 km from the other, with beach on deck.

Poggiardo and surroundings

Poggiardo is a small village in the Salento hinterland, located just a few chimolemetri from some of the most popular seaside resorts by travelers, such as: Castro, called the Pearl of Salento, Santa Cesarea Terme, rich in its beneficial thermal waters, and Otranto, with its wonderful clear beaches and crystal clear sea. Rich in history and of medieval origin, Poggiardo is the union of relaxation and culture, born on the ruins of Vaste, on an area inhabited since prehistoric times. Of the historical and architectural heritage you can visit: the Basilica crypt of Santa Maria, before the eleventh century, whose frescoes, in Byzantine style , are kept in the museum of Villa Episcopo; the eighteenth-century Ducal palace of the Guarini family and, in the locality of Vaste, the remains of megalithic walls and the crypt of Santo Stefano, decorated with frescoes from various eras.
