Gallipoli and surroundings

The famous name of "Città Bella" (it is the meaning of the toponym that derives from the Greek language) fits perfectly. In fact, Gallipoli has always been attractive, since its very ancient origins. Otherwise it would not be explained why it has been continuously, over the centuries, at the center of the sights of the various conquering peoples: on its territory there have been dominations and invasions by the Romans, Barbarians, Byzantines, Greeks, Normans, Angevins, Aragonese, Veneziani, Spagnoli, Francesi and others.

The "honey" of the Ionian city, no doubt, was and has long been its port and commercial activities linked to it. Indeed, its ports. In fact, there are two places of landing and mooring of boats, of which the oldest (the fishing port) is located near the Greek Fountain and close to the Rivellino, almost at the border (marked by a brick bridge of the '600) between the modern village (the famous course Rome is the symbol) and the old city.

Purtroppo a Marina di macaversa non mi sono trovata bene per presenza di puzza di muffa scarafaggi acari ...la casa non era stata pulita ...e ho avuto problemi con mia figlia perché ho dovuto comprarle antistaminici e spray per disinfestazione acari che ho dovuto eseguire a mie spese...gli ultimi 3 gg sono stata spostata a lido san Giovanni a Gallipoli...e finalmente la casa era abitabile...dopo 9 anni che aspettavo con sacrifici una vacanza devo dire che sono rimasta male....comunque ringrazio il sig Francesco e Federica per la loro carineria ad aiutarmi a godere 3 gg di favoloso mare....
