Basil and surroundings

It lies south of Milan, near the border with the province of Pavia, between the municipalities of Rozzano, Pieve Emanuele, Lacchiarella and Zibido San Giacomo. Only 4 km from the town you can take the state road no. 35 of the Jovi. The nearest motorway route is the A7 Milano-Genova, which is accessed by the Binasco tollbooth, just 8 km away. Easy to connect with the railway network: the station, along the Milan-Genova line, is in fact only 6 km away. The nearest airport, to which (at least until 1998) is referred to national and international flights, is 27 km, while the Milan / Malpensa airport, which is aimed at direct intercontinental flights, is at 60 km. Farther away is the commercial and tourist port that, located 131km away, is one of the most well-equipped facilities not only of the peninsula but of the whole basin of the Mediterranean. The population refers predominantly to the nearby provincial capital for business, labor, services and bureaucratic-administrative offices not present on the site.
